As a prominent member of the Moronidae family, the Striped Bass provides excellent sport in US lake,river,reservoir waters. The striped bass is an iconic anadromous species that migrates between saltwater and freshwater. Landlocked populations in freshwater reservoirs have been established across the country. "Stripers" are powerful, fast-growing fish that can exceed 60 pounds and provide incredible sport fishing. They are the state fish of Rhode Island, Maryland, New Jersey, and South Carolina.
