The Northern Pike (Esox lucius) is a popular lake,river,reservoir species found across North America. The northern pike is an apex freshwater predator with a fearsome reputation. Known as the "water wolf," pike use ambush tactics from vegetation to explode on prey with explosive speed. Their long, torpedo-shaped body, duck-bill snout, and mouthful of sharp teeth make them one of the most distinctive and feared freshwater fish in North America.

Habitat & Diet
